DSBCD Summer Dance Camps

“A Chance to Dance”

It’s not too early to think about summer dance. DSBCD is offering, “A chance to dance” for children of all ages (4-12 yrs) to explore all types of dance incorporating dance, visual arts and music- emphasizing fun fun fun!

Camps/ Dates:
July 7th -11th-Disney Magic
14th-18th- Cirque Camp
21th-25th-Rock Star Camp
August 11th-15th-On Broadway
18th-22nd –Glee Camp

Fees: $185 +HST Full Day 9-4pm (6-12yrs)
$95 +HST ½ day 9 am-12 noon (4-6 yrs)

Drop In Weekly Classes

DSBCD encourages all dancers to “keep fit” + dancing throughout the summer. Drop in classes will be offered:

Tuesdays and Thursdays Evening: (August 5-28)
Jazz+Conditioning and Contemporary/Acro/Stretch (Guest teachers in addition to Staff)

Fees : $28 +HST per eve or $11 + HST/ class
$150 + HST for 6 evenings (18 classes)

DSBCD Dance Intensive

All prospective competitive dancers must participate in our assessment/intensive

Intensive A: New to dance with minimal experience. August 18-22/ 4-9:30pm
Ages (4-10 yrs)

Intensive B: Competitive Dancer s + all returning DSBCD competitive dancers.
Ages (10-17 yrs)
August 25-29th 4-9:30
Fee: $285 + HST – Intensive A
$325 + HST – Intensive B

• DSBCD intensives will focus on important aspects in training such as strength, flexibility, style as well as increasing the students’ knowledge in all genres of dance.
Here students will progress quickly and have a new approach to learning with exciting guest teachers and choreographers.

We are excited to have Corey Baker a contemporary artist who has danced with Modern dance companies such as Forces of Nature , Creative Dance Outlet, Philadanco, to name a few, in addition to singing and dancing in the Tony award winning Broadway musical “Fela”!
