DSBCD is known for our unique, ‘out of the box’ award winning choreography and we are excited to announce this new platform for cultivating creativity! Could you be the next creative mind we are looking for? Do you have what it takes to create a piece of art that reflects your own personal vision? We are looking for original thinkers and risk takers and want to showcase your work!

Rules, Requirements, Awards

• Pieces can be original solos, duets/trios and or groups providing that the choreographer is NOT in them.
• Pieces must be no longer than 3.5 minutes
• Entry deadline: A paragraph explaining theme/idea/inspiration of piece must be submitted to DSBCD@hotmail.com by Tuesday April 3rd, 2018
• Pieces will be presented to a panel of judges consisting of DSBCD Faculty as well as friends and family on Friday June 1st. Finalists and winners will be announced after the presentation.
• Winners will receive a featured performance in our Summer Solstice Recital at Oshawa Little Theatre, free studio time for rehearsals, and one on one mentorship with Madeleine Twyman exploring themes, process, costuming, lighting and music editing. The winning piece will also be added to our YouTube Channel, website and social media accounts.
