DSBCD”S Pre-Professional Program, The Blue Institute, is currently accepting new students for the 2022/23 season. This program is for dancer’s who plan to pursue a professional career in dance and want to take their technique, artistry and creativity to the next level. We are looking for unique boys and girls ages 13-19 to join our us for performances, International Competitions and professional video and photo shoots.

Acceptance into the program is by an audition process via online submission. Students who meet the requirements will then be invited to an in-person audition with Artistic Director Madeleine Twyman.

Online Audition requirements:

• A picture in ballet attire in a tendu in second position with arms in second position
• A picture in Arabesque in the centre
• A video of a double pirouette right and left
• A video of a current solo in either ballet or contemporary. This can be choreography or an improvisation. Minimum 1.5mins to a maximum of 2.5mins.
• The body of email should include full name, address, birthdate, years of training, awards/achievements and personal goals.
